Job Description:
The Regional Wholesale Account Executive
will be responsible for the primary business development for Amerlender. Role is
to expand the relationships with existing mortgage brokers and develop new relationships
through active calling programs to educate mortgage brokers on the benefits,
policies and procedures of our small commercial loan programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and develop mortgage brokers with high potential given the company’s product line.
Develop and maintain thorough product knowledge.
Educate mortgage brokers on the benefits, policies and procedures of our commercial product line.
Provide outstanding customer service including prompt follow-up on broker calls and issues.
This also includes building a strong relationship with an inside loan officer.
Contribute to market research, branch and regional projects, team building with inside sales and operational staff.
Required Skills:
Laptop PC skills Microsoft office programs
Solid understanding of mortgage broker community in designated markets
Knowledge in the area of Real Estate mortgage origination, processing,
underwriting, closing and pricing activities are preferred or a sales background in other industries.
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to be a self starter and be self motivated
Required Experience:
College degree required.
3 to 5 years mortgage banking experience
2 years wholesale lending experience with niche and/or subprime product
